SJÆLSØ NORDIC – WE FIND AND SELECT FOR NORDIC HOMES AND INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECTS

We have carefully selected our furniture and interior. Our products are original, handmade or developed and made of recycled material. We cooperate closely with our suppliers and together we select, renovate and refurbish old furniture and interior products. We are therefore often to be found at our suppliers' workshops busy developing and finding new items.

Products of Sjælsø Nordic always contain an authentic story. We ´love imperfections - as they provide soul and atmosphere to our homes. The small imperfections tell a story making our home unique.

 

RECYCLING OG UPCYCLING

Recycling and sustainability are core elements of the DNA of Sjælsø Nordic. We love finding old things that can get a new life - either by being renovated, getting a new finish or by being re-purposed to a new function. Why not use what is already available?

 

 

METTE HOLST-ANDERSEN - FOUNDER AND OWNER

 

My name is Mette, and I am the founder of Sjælsø Nordic ApS. Why did I establish Sjælsø Nordic? Even though is sounds like a truism, it is important for me to make a difference. In Sjælsø Nordic we offer original, recycled or handmade products in a sustaniable way by using recycled materials. Furthermore, we cooperate closely with our local suppliers thereby enabling growth and an income for local craftsmen.

 

Prior to the establishment of Sjælsø Nordic, I worked for more than 15 years in the consultancy business focusing on business development in developing countries revolving around topics such as sourcing, market access to international markets, sustainable business models and corporate social responsibility. These elements are engained in the daily business of Sjælsø Nordic enabling me to continue working with my passion on an operational level.

 

 

EVA HOLST-ANDERSEN - OWNER

My name is Eva and I am one of the owners of Sjælsø Nordic. My passion is to start up and develop businesses. I am looking forward to support the continious journey of Sjælsø Nordic by a.o. developing new products and strong partnerships with customers and suppliers.

 

Besides the two of us, we have established a fantastic team of both internal and external people helping us on a daily basis with growing Sjælsø Nordic. One of them is Anette our dedicated sales person on Funen and Jutland, another is Linn our dedicated sales person in Norway. Lars is our creative spirit helping us with communication, branding and story telling. Camilla, our amazing photographer who always manages to make our products stand out. Our dedicated team at TMC Lager og Logistik making sure you get your shipments not mention the rest of our team who on a daily basis is doing a tremendious work helping us serving you.
